annegeluna's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- what i'm up to This weekend was . . . grocery shopping, sleeping in for the girls (me and Madge), cleaning up around the house, making a run to the hardware store and the nursery, decorating the fireplace mantle with fresh garland, an early dinner at La Pinata, the lighted yacht parade in the estuary, more sleeping in for the girls, seeing old friends at the Antique Fair, hanging lights in the front windows, a blazing warm fire and leftover La Pinata. And lots of listening to music and some movie watching, too. Thanksgiving weekend we had a turkey dinner with our friends here and drove up to Reno on Friday morning to visit with our families. We had a good trip and enjoyed seeing everyone but time flew by and I wished for just a little more time with everyone. Thanksgiving was . . . sinful potatoes and ham, a whipped cream fight and the ensuing mohawk, a fancy hotel with a view of the ice skating rink, a movie in bed, a walk along the river to java jungle, a turkey dinner lunch and football, a turkey dinner and more football, some tequila, some wine, some Fernet, lots of talking, laughing and catching up.
